Materials

Brazilian Imbuia wood (Ocotea porosa), 950 silver and natural emerald.

Imbuia, sometimes known internationally as Brazilian Walnut, is appreciated for its rich brown tones and expressive grain. The silver alloy contains 95% pure silver, while the natural emerald provides a vivid green accent.

Variations in wood grain and gemstone appearance are natural characteristics of the materials.

The making

Silva belongs to the W. Ritzdorf Atelier collection, where traditional jewellery-making meets an exploration of natural materials.

Its form brings together wood, silver and stone through a considered balance of structure and movement. The character of the Imbuia grain ensures that each finished piece carries its own visual identity.

Care

Treat Silva as a precious object.

Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household chemicals. Remove before bathing, swimming or physical activity.

Gently clean the silver with a soft, dry jewellery cloth, taking care around the wood and emerald. Do not use silver-dipping solutions, ultrasonic cleaners or abrasive products.

Store separately in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and extreme changes in temperature.
